Blood Race
During the time I was a first lieutenant at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, the junior officers challenged the senior officers to see who would donate the most blood.
After trying several times to locate a vein in my left arm, the technician applied a Band-Aid, and then inserted a needle into my right arm, drawing blood this time, and then put a Band-Aid on that arm as well.
As I left the collection facility, I passed a colonel. Noting my two bandages, he looked at me and shook his head, saying, "I knew you young guys would find some way to cheat."

Anti-Gravity
I found a very interesting book about anti-gravity.
I just can't put it down!
Quote #2174
"'I am with you always, to the end of the age.' That is a promise you can stake your life on. It is also a challenge: if Jesus himself is 'with you,' what should you be doing? How then should you live?"

Self-Control
I once played golf in a foursome with my Minister. I'm afraid I forgot myself and let loose with some profanity after missing an easy shot.
He said, "I've played golf with some of the finest men in our congregation.
Last week, Jack Nicholas went for six under par on this very course. I didn't hear one word of profanity from him."
Still upset, I replied, "Well Pastor, what did he have to cuss about?"

Rev. James Snyder, God's Penman, writes . . . .
If Only I Would Take Notes
As a writer, I always have a small notebook in my shirt pocket to take notes when I have an idea. I don’t have too many ideas, so I want to write down any I get so I don’t forget them. That has helped me out on many occasions.
There is one exception. When The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage talks to me, I fail to take notes about that conversation. You would think after being married as long as I have, I would know better.
I never think of it until she asks, “Do you remember what I told you this morning?” That always catches me off my guard, and I think she just may be doing this on purpose.

There is only one secure foundation: a genuine, deep relationship with Jesus Christ, which will carry you through any and all turmoil. No matter what storms are raging all around, you'll stand firm if you stand on His love.
You ask why I follow this Jesus?
As may be expected, Easter is one of my favorite holidays. Although I prefer to call it Resurrection Sunday, I am not easily offended by words. Remember the old saying, "Sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never hurt you."
We think Cybersalt's collection of Christmas jokes is the best collection on the net. Right now it features over 70 jokes.
Over the years, some of the most popular pages on the Cybersalt site have featured Funny Cat Pictures. We have to admit that even though cats often look at humans like they owe the feline world something (remember dogs have owners and cats have staff), cats aren't as bad as a lot of the press that they get.
Some say the world can be divided into two types - cat people and dog people. For the cat people of the planet, Cybersalt has the
