One day, an employee received an unusually large check. She decided not to say anything about it.
The following week, her check was for less that the normal amount, and she confronted her boss. “How come,” the supervisor inquired, “you didn’t say anything when you were overpaid?”
Unperturbed, the employee replied, “Well, I can overlook one mistake but not two in a row!”
There was a certain field near our cottage (when I was a boy) that had a huge, mammoth boulder in it. Every time my grandfather would drive past it he would tell me that he had carried it there. As a boy I was mesmerized by that. As an adult of course I figured out he hadn't. The stonghenge guy in this video clip has me open minded about it now!
My mom has a lead foot, so I was not surprised when a state trooper pulled us over as we were speeding through Georgia.
Hoping to get off with a warning, Mom tried to appear shocked when the trooper walked up to the car.
"I have never been stopped like this before," she said to the officer.
"What do they usually do, ma'am," he asked, "shoot the tires out?"
It's a small world after all! Yes, Disney has tortured many people on that ride with that song, but the nice people at Nikon Cameras have a more pleasant take on it. Here's some very cool photographs shot in their camera contest.

It's dedicated to the memory of Maggie - Pastor Tim and family's dog. The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
