A passenger train is creeping along, slowly. Finally it creaks to a halt. A passenger sees a conductor walking by outside.
"What's going on?" she yells out the window.
"Cow on the track!" replies the conductor.
Ten minutes later, the train resumes its slow pace.
Within five minutes, however, it stops again.
The woman sees the same conductor walk again.
She leans out the window and yells, "What happened? Did we catch up with the cow again?"
Ice cubes don't kill people. People with ice cubes kill people - well in this case they knock penguins back into the water.
This game is only for fun. Please don't build your own ice cube weapon and then go on an expedition to the North Pole to shoot penguins. First of all, there are no penguins at the North Pole and what with how greenhouse gases are now because of burning oil based fuels you don't want to make a wasted trip.
More importantly, you should not hurt penguins because they have a hard enough time as it is having to waddle to casual gatherings dressed in formal attire all the time. Don't add insult to injury by shooting at them while they are on the way.
Puffins on the other hand - they're open season!
One afternoon while I was visiting my library, I noticed a group of preschoolers gathered for story time. The book they were reading was THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A FLY.
After the librarian finished the first page, she asked the children, "Do you think she'll die?"
"Nope," a little girl in the back said. "I saw this last night on FEAR FACTOR."
There are log houses and then there are LOG houses.
I bet this one was easy to renovate and put wood panelling in. Of course the possibility of termites and rot a bit risky to make a home repair.
