My job is in the aerospace industry, and it's always been a challenge to explain what kind of work I do.

At one gathering, I tried several unsuccessful attempted explanations before deciding to be as generic as possible. When the subject came up while I was talking with a group of guys, I replied simply, "Defense contractor."

The men nodded, and as the conversation went on, I silently declared victory to myself. Then, one of them turned to me and asked, "So, what do you put up mainly? Chain-link?"

* One who avoids Bride-Eyed women.

* One who believes in Life, Liberty and the Happiness of Pursuit.

* One who can go fishing anytime, until he gets hooked.

* One who can't be Spouse-Broken.

* One who knows how to hold a woman's hand so that she doesn't get a grip on him.

* One who leans toward a woman but not far enough to fall.

* One who when a girl asks him for a Diamond Ring, he turns Stone-Deaf.

* One who would rather mend his socks than his ways.

The best way to watch a demolition derby?

Through a kaleidoscope.

The judge asked his dentist:

"Will you drill the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth?"

I went to the dentist with my uncle the other day. He needed needed new dentures. The dentist showed him some that only cost a dollar.

The dentist did want my uncle to understand, though, that they were buck teeth.

The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
