A cowboy walked into a pet store and asked to buy a Dachsund.
The store clerk asked why he chose that breed and the cowboy replied,
"Because someone told him to "get a long little doggy."

A couple of goobers in a pickup truck drove into a lumberyard.
One of them walked into the office and said, "We need some four-by-twos."
The clerk said, "You mean two-by-fours, don't you?"
The man said, "I'll go check," and went back to the truck.
He returned a minute later and said, "Yeah, I meant two-by-fours."
"All right. How long do you need them?"
The customer paused for a minute and said, "I'd better go check."
After a while, he returned to the office and said,
"A long time. We're gonna build a house."

It's dedicated to the memory of Maggie - Pastor Tim and family's dog. The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
